Found It

I have asked previously if anybody knew a reference describing the homotopy type of the poset of linear subspaces of Rⁿ (with intial and final object removed). I guess you were all ignoring me. Anyway, last night I finally found it in 'Combinatorics of Topological Posets: Homotopy Complementation Formulas' by Zivaljevic (on the arxiv). There, he provides a proof along the lines of the one I described recently, as well as a proof using the methods the paper is describing. So anyway, if you were curious, check it out.
